Can I put my external blog posts into Infomonkey?
Yes you can, and our users will read it on your blog page.

Say you have a post about a Halifax restaurant on your external blog. You can post the headline of that blog post and the first few sentences into our restaurant section and when our users click on it your blog page opens for them to read it.

It works in any section of the site. So if you have a post about development in Halifax you can put it into Development in our News section.

We're trying to help people find local blogs by encouraging bloggers to put their posts where people would look for them. It also sends traffic to a blogger's page.

We ask you to join the site. Then, once you are signed in you just click on "New...

How can I put my blog posts into a section in Infomonkey?
It's easy. When you post to your blog page click on the option at the bottom of the dialogue box that says, "PUBLISH TO INFOMONKEY." Click it and then click on "ADD."

Select an appropriate section for the post to go. For example, if your post is about a movie you have seen select the Movie section. A restaurant post can go into Restaurants+Food.

Your post goes into your blog immediately but you won't see it in Infomonkey right away. We moderate blog posts not so much for content, but to prevent spammers and to make sure posts are in the appropriate category.

Why doesn't my screen look right?
If things look too big on your screen your monitor may be set to a low screen resolution. It's easy to change.

If you are using Windows follow these steps:

1. Click on START in the very lower left corner of your computer and look for CONTROL PANEL in the pop-up window.

2. Double-click on CONTROL PANEL. A new window called Control Panel will open. Look for DISPLAY.

3. Double click on DISPLAY. A new window called Display Properties will open with five tabs at the top starting with Themes and ending with Settings.

4. Click on SETTINGS. The window will change and a picture of a computer monitor appears. Underneath it is a scale titled "Screen resolution" with a "slider" that goes ...
