Police seek public’s help locating missing teen

Halifax Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth female.
Fourteen-year-old Samantha Leger was last seen on Friday, July 2 in the early morning hours. Her parents reported her missing just before noon that day after a note was found saying she was leaving.

Waste oil spill reaches Bedford Highway and Sackville River

At around 10 a.m. today police responded to a waste oil spill which resulted from an insecure cap on a hauling truck on Dartmouth Road.
The spill eventually reached the Bedford Highway and the Sackville River.
