Leonard M - new name to get used to.

After 26 years under one owner, and carrying the same name, the tug Point Halifax was sold earlier this year to McKeil Work Boats of Hamilton, ON. It has now been renamed Leonard M.
It will take some getting used to on my part, but in time I am sure it will settle in.

Provo Wallis - here we go again

For the third time this year the vessel 2011-02 ex CCGS Provo Wallis is for sale. Tow In and Tow Out

There were two tows for Halifax today-one inbound and one outbound.
The first was the inbound tow of the Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel HMCS Glace Bay from Shelburne by the tug CFAV Glenbrook. The ship is the second to be refitted under the current program for the Kingston class.
